Are you a compassionate and experienced teacher with a passion for supporting pupils with profound and multiple learning difficulties? We are currently seeking a dedicated PMLD Teacher to join a welcoming and well-resourced special school in Handsworth on a full-time basis.

This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in a highly supportive environment, working with a skilled team of staff who are committed to providing exceptional care and education.

  • £170 – £210 per day
  • Full-time | Long-term opportunity

The Role:

  • Deliver engaging, sensory-based lessons tailored to pupils with PMLD
  • Support students with complex needs, including medical, physical, and communication needs
  • Work collaboratively with support staff, therapists, and families
  • Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment
  • Monitor progress and adapt teaching strategies to meet individual needs

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential
  • Proven experience working with PMLD or within a special school setting
  • A patient, resilient, and nurturing approach
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • A genuine passion for supporting pupils with complex needs
