CERT Solutions are working with a welcoming primary school in Kingstanding who are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Teacher to join their team from November 2026.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced teacher or a confident ECT looking for a long-term part-time teaching role, working every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. The position is expected to continue at least until May 2026, with the potential for further extension.
The Role
You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons to a KS1 class, supporting pupils in their academic progress and preparing them for the transition to secondary school. You will work closely with the school’s staff team to ensure consistency and continuity across the week.
The successful candidate will:
- Have experience teaching in Key Stage 1.
- Deliver engaging and inclusive lessons that meet the needs of all pupils.
- Have strong classroom management skills.
- Build positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues.
- Support pupils’ academic, social and emotional development.
- Work effectively as part of a small and supportive school team.
- Be committed to maintaining high expectations of behaviour and achievement.
Requirements:
- UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- DBS on Update service (or willingness to apply)
- Available from September to December
