A specialist provision in Stechford is looking for a strong male SEMH Teaching Assistant to join their team and make a real difference in the lives of students who need structure, consistency, and positive role models.
About the Role:
You’ll be working closely with students who present challenging behaviour, helping them regulate emotions, engage with learning, and develop social skills in a safe and supportive environment. You’ll be part of a dedicated staff team that values teamwork, mutual respect, and a calm, firm approach.
What We’re Looking For:
– Male TA preferred for positive role modelling
– Background in youth work, mentoring, or alternative provision
– Holds a Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent experience)
– Proven behaviour management skills and the ability to set firm boundaries
– High levels of resilience, patience, and emotional intelligence
– Available to work full-time, Monday to Friday
