We are currently working with a warm and welcoming special day school near Bournville/Selly Park, who are looking for a SEN Learning Mentor/Teaching Assistant to join the team ASAP, but will wait for right candidate!
CERT Solutions are a family run 5* education agency, specialising in flexible day cover, short/long term assignments, as well as permanent contracts within schools across Birmingham/Sandwell/Dudley and surrounding areas.
The desired candidate(s) for this particular role will have knowledge of special educational needs (regardless of whether your experience has been within mainstream schools, SEN settings or residential childcare/healthcare settings).
You will be working within a school that cater for students between 4-11 years of age, primarily with special education needs and/or disabilities arising from cognition and learning difficulties including severe learning difficulties and speech, communication/language difficulties.
All of our current schools have stated that candidates must have experience in a similar role/setting in the UK and unfortunately no sponsorships are currently available for this role (or any of our others where you are working through our agency).

More about the role & what we need from you:
- Full Time SEN Support (EYFS/Primary)
- Start date: Ideally ASAP – may wait until September for right candidate(s)
- This position will pay £94+ per day (paid weekly)
- Experience working with children or young people with special needs
- A relevant qualification: Childcare, Health & Social, Supporting Teaching & Learning, Education (or similar)
- Full enhanced DBS registered on the update service to start this position (or willing to apply – we can do this for you)
