Description
CERT Solutions are currently looking for experienced Learning Support Practitioners (LSP) for long term and permanent roles within our partnership schools in Sandwell. These roles are to start after Easter and September and are a mix of full and part time.
Responsibilities include:
- Working with learners either 1-2-1 or in small groups.
- Support learners to develop essential skills, build social connections, and engage actively in learning.
- Managing behaviour and engaging learners with their own learning.
- Small group interventions and supporting children with a range of needs (SEND).
- Committed to support both the teacher and the learners to succeed.
Requirements:
- A minimum Level 2 qualification in Childcare/Early Years (or equivalent).
- Previous experience of working with children in a primary school or educational setting in the UK.
- Confident communication skills and to be an excellent motivator in the classroom.
- Strong behaviour management skills with the ability to support learners in Early Years, Key Stage 1, and/or Key Stage 2.
- A current Enhanced DBS that is registered with the Update Service, or you will be prepared to apply for a new DBS with ourselves (cost applied).
All rates are inclusive of holiday pay
