Are you a passionate and dedicated teacher with a strong ability to engage and inspire children? The Role:

We are seeking a qualified and experienced KS1 Primary School Teacher to join our welcoming and supportive team at a primary school in Sandwell. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young learners in a diverse and inclusive school environment.

You will be responsible for teaching across Key Stage 1, and your main duties will include:

  • Planning, preparing, and delivering engaging lessons that meet the needs of all pupils, including those with SEND.
  • Implementing effective behaviour management strategies to ensure a positive and productive classroom environment.
  • Supporting pupils with a range of additional needs, and adapting teaching methods to meet individual learning requirements.
  • Assessing and monitoring pupil progress, providing feedback to pupils and parents.
  • Collaborating with colleagues, SENCO, and other professionals to support pupils with SEND.

What we are looking for:

  • Be a qualified teacher (QTS) with a strong understanding of the KS1 curriculum.
  • Have proven experience in teaching across KS1, with a passion for early childhood education.
  • Demonstrate excellent behaviour management skills and a proactive approach to maintaining a positive learning environment.
  • Have experience working with SEND pupils, with a solid understanding of the strategies and support needed to help these students succeed.
  • Be confident, patient, and creative, with a genuine desire to make a positive impact on the lives of children.
  • Possess excellent communication skills and be a team player who can collaborate effectively with colleagues and parents.

 

Requirements:

  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
  • Right to work in the UK
  • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)

All rates are inclusive of holiday pay.
