We are working with a mainstream primary school near Smethwick that would like to appoint a Key Stage 1 ECT from September 2024 on a full time basis. In the two-form entry school, you will have the full support of your year team teacher and an experienced induction tutor who will ensure that you have the very best opportunities for continued professional development to ensure that you reach your full potential. You will be joining a happy school, where pupils flourish and where senior leaders carefully consider teachers’ work/life balance.
To be considered for this position you will need:
- Atleast 3 months classroom experience
- Strong knowledge of the KS1 curriculum
- A full enhanced DBS on update service – or willingness to get one
- Available full time from September 2024
- Be able to engage children in lessons that are stimulating
- Be able to use positive and effective behaviour management strategies
