Description
CERT Solutions are searching for a qualified HLTA to work in a nursery class at a welcoming mainstream primary school in Handsworth, Birmingham. The role is part-time, working 3 days per week (Monday to Wednesday), and will commence in September 2025. This is a long-term, ongoing position, offering stability and the chance to make a lasting impact in an Early Years setting.
You will work closely with the class teacher and Early Years staff, supporting the planning and delivery of engaging learning experiences. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a nurturing, child-centred environment and has experience working within a nursery or Early Years setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead small group activities and occasionally cover lessons under teacher guidance
- Support children’s development across the EYFS curriculum
- Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Liaise with staff and parents to support pupil progress
Requirements:
- HLTA qualification or equivalent
- Recent experience in an EYFS setting
- Strong understanding of Early Years development
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to obtain one)
