We are currently working with a village special school near Coventry who are looking for a new Head of Science to join the team ASAP, on a long term or possibly temp-perm basis!
CERT Solutions are a family run 5* education agency, specialising in flexible day cover, short/long term assignments, as well as permanent contracts within schools across Birmingham/Sandwell/Dudley and surrounding areas.
The desired candidate(s) for this particular role will have knowledge of the science curriculum and be able to commit to the school and be comfortable managing 1 other science teacher, with planning and marking responsibilities included.
You will be working within a school that cater for students between 7-16 years of age, primarily with SEMH needs with some students having ADHD/ASD and other learning difficulties so experience with any of these needs is desirable.
All of our current schools have stated that candidates must have experience in a similar role/setting in the UK and unfortunately no sponsorships are currently available for this role (or any of our others via our agency).

- Full Time Head of Science
- Start date: Ideally ASAP – may wait for right candidate
- This position will pay £230-£300+ per day (TBC by school)
- You are required to travel to the Coventry area (Mon-Fri)
- Experience teaching in UK schools with references required
- A relevant teaching qualification ie. PGCE Science with QTS
- Full enhanced DBS registered on the update service (or willing to apply)
