CERT Solutions are currently recruiting on behalf of a welcoming nursery school in Sparkbrook for a dedicated EYFS Teaching Assistant to join their team from April until the end of the academic year in July. This is a morning-only role, 5 days per week, supporting children in an Early Years setting.

The successful candidate will work closely with the class teacher and wider EYFS team to provide a safe, engaging, and nurturing learning environment that supports young children’s development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting the class teacher in delivering engaging EYFS activities
  • Assisting with the learning, play, and development of nursery-aged children
  • Supporting children with early literacy, numeracy, and social skills
  • Helping to maintain a positive, safe, and stimulating classroom environment
  • Observing and reporting on children’s progress where required

Requirements

  • Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare / Early Years (essential)
  • Experience working within an EYFS or nursery setting
  • A nurturing and patient approach to supporting young children
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
