CERT Solutions are working in partnership with a fantastic secondary school based near Kidderminster who are looking for an English Teacher to start on a full time basis.
About the role
The role is a temporary position as it’s covering an absent member of staff from April to July. You will be required to teach KS3 and KS4. You will be responsible for marking and planning in line with the national curriculum. This may be the perfect opportunity for an ECT as well as well-established teacher.

Pay:
Paid to scale MPS1 – UPS3 depending on your current pay grade
What you’ll Do:
- Plan and deliver engaging and innovative lessons that cater to the diverse needs of students.
- Supportive classroom environment that encourages students to thrive academically and personally.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to help them reach their full potential.
- Collaborate with fellow educators and staff to contribute to the school’s vibrant academic community.
- Be a mentor and guide for students, nurturing their curiosity and love for English language and Literature
Requirements:
- A recognized teaching qualification with a focus on English (Bachelor’s in Education, PGCE, or QTS or QTLS).
- A strong background in Religious Studies and a deep understanding of the curriculum.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students, parents, and colleagues effectively.
- A commitment to ongoing professional development and a drive to continually improve teaching practices.
- Relevant teaching experience, preferably in a secondary school setting.
