CERT Solutions are working with a fantastic secondary school that are looking for a QTS English teacher that can start with them from September. The role will be full time delivering KS3 and KS4.
About the role
The role is a temporary position as its covering an absent member of staff from September to December. You will be required to teach KS3 – KS4 and plan and mark in line with the curriculum. This may be the perfect opportunity for an ECT as well as well-established teacher.

The school is an Outstanding secondary based Near Kidderminster. They are rated Outstanding by Ofsted and have great transport links as well as onsite parking.
Pay:
Paid to scale MPS1 – UPS3 (£162 – £251 per day PAYE) depending on your current pay grade
What you’ll Do:
- Plan and deliver engaging and innovative KS3 and KS4 English lessons that cater to the diverse needs of students.
- Supportive classroom environment that encourages students to thrive academically and personally.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to help them reach their full potential.
- Collaborate with fellow educators and staff to contribute to the school’s vibrant academic community.
- Be a mentor and guide for students, nurturing their curiosity and love for English.
Requirements:
- A recognized teaching qualification with a focus on English (Bachelor’s in Education, PGCE, or QTS or QTLS).
- A strong background in English Language and Literature as well as a deep understanding of the curriculum.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students, parents, and colleagues effectively.
- A commitment to ongoing professional development and a drive to continually improve teaching practices.
- Relevant teaching experience, preferably in a secondary school setting.
