We are working closely with a well-established Autism specialist school based in Harborne that supports children and young people with complex communication needs and a primary diagnosis of Autism. The school is known for its inclusive ethos, dedicated staff team, and nurturing approach that empowers every pupil to reach their full potential.
As demand grows, we are looking to recruit flexible and passionate Teaching Assistants for day-to-day supply work. These roles offer variety, hands-on experience, and the opportunity to support pupils on a 1:1 or small group basis within a highly supportive environment.
What we’re looking for:
- Experience working with children or young people with Autism/SEN in a school or similar care/education setting
- A recognised Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
- A flexible and proactive approach to working in a school setting
- The ability to build positive relationships and communicate effectively with both pupils and staff
- A calm, patient, and understanding manner
