Description
Join a specialist SEN school in Moseley supporting students aged 11–19 with complex needs. This role is about providing personalised support, building confidence, and enabling students with complex needs to access learning in a way that works for them.
Day-to-day:
- Providing 1:1 and small group support tailored to each student’s learning, communication, and social needs
- Using personalised strategies to promote engagement, positive interaction, and emotional well-being
- Assisting pupils in lessons and during structured learning, sensory, and life skills activities
- Acting as a supportive and consistent role model, encouraging independence and self-confidence
Requirements:
- Experience supporting children or young people with a range of complex learning, physical, or communication needs
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to adapt approaches to suit individual learners
- Patience, resilience, and flexibility in a variety of learning and care situations
- Relevant Level 2 or 3 qualification in education, childcare, or health & social care
