We are working with a specialist SEN school in Moseley that is seeking an experienced and committed SEN Teacher to join their team on a full-time basis. This is a long-term role with full teaching responsibilities, including planning, delivery, assessment, and classroom management.

The school supports children and young people with a range of complex needs, including Autism (ASC), severe learning difficulties (SLD), and associated behavioural and medical needs. Classes are small and supported by experienced teaching assistants, ensuring a nurturing and highly personalised learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, differentiated lessons to pupils with complex needs
  • Create and adapt resources to meet a wide range of learning styles and abilities
  • Work closely with support staff, therapists, and families to ensure each pupil’s progress and well-being
  • Track and assess pupil progress using EHCP targets and school-based systems
  • Foster a safe, positive, and inclusive classroom environment

Ideal Candidate:

  • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent
  • Proven experience working with pupils with SEN, particularly ASC and complex needs
  • Confident in managing behaviours linked to SEND and able to use a range of strategies to support pupils
  • Passionate, patient, and resilient, with a strong understanding of inclusive teaching practices
  • Committed to making a lasting impact on the lives of children with additional needs
