Are you an experienced and skilled Teaching Assistant, Residential Support or Youth Worker based in Oldbury or surrounding areas? Have you worked with children with social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs? Are you able to support children to manage and regulate challenging behaviours?
CERT Solutions are looking for staff to support a lovely SEN School in Oldbury on a full time or part time basis from September.
You will be responsible for supporting the classroom teacher to enable them to teach effectively, ensuring that the children you will care for are kept on task, helped to manage their behaviour, and to engage and communicate with their peers and teachers.
Skilled in de-escalation and behaviour management, your role will be a rewarding and challenging one, with no day the same as the last!
To be considered:
- Experience working with young people with SEMH, autism, ADHD, or other disabilities and needs
- Able to hold student attention and communicate effectively in tough situations
- Able to encourage emotional regulation, and support pupils with SEMH needs to flourish!
- Hold relevant qualifications within Education or Health and Social Care
All rates are inclusive of holiday pay
