Description
A specialist SEN primary school in South Birmingham is seeking a Teaching Assistant to work with children aged 3–5 with autism. You’ll focus on early communication, play, and social skills, creating a warm and supportive environment.
You’ll be:
- Assisting with structured play and learning activities
- Using communication strategies like PECS or Makaton
- Supporting children’s sensory and emotional needs
Requirements:
- Experience with ASC in Early Years or KS1
- Energy, patience, and a nurturing nature
- A relevant childcare qualification
