CERT Solutions are currently recruiting on behalf of a specialist provision supporting students aged 11–19 with Autism as their primary diagnosis. This is a full-time opportunity for a dedicated and experienced teacher who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of neurodivergent young people.

The Role:

  • Deliver personalised, structured teaching to students with Autism across KS3–Post 16
  • Plan and deliver creative, accessible lessons that support academic and personal development
  • Work collaboratively with a skilled team of support staff and therapists
  • Foster a calm, predictable, and inclusive classroom environment
  • Use a range of communication strategies, including visuals and structured routines
  • Monitor progress and contribute to EHCP reviews and personalised learning plans

What We’re Looking For:

  • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) is essential
  • Previous experience working with autistic learners, ideally in a special school or alternative provision
  • Excellent knowledge of autism-friendly strategies and approaches (e.g., TEACCH, PECS, sensory integration)
  • Strong communication skills and a team-focused attitude
  • Ability to adapt and differentiate lessons to meet individual needs
