CERT Solutions are working with a secondary school based in near Moseley, Birmingham who are looking to appoint a Art & Design Technician. It is a great secondary with welcoming and supportive departments. The successful Technician will work alongside a fantastic team of staff and support in the preparation and safety of the Department.
The role will start from September 2025 and be part time, 3 days per week. Wednesday’s, Thursday’s & Fridays.
Ideally the school would like to appoint a perm member of staff but will take temp candidates on first to ensure they hire the right person!
The successful teacher will essentially have:
- Degree qualification or higher
- Experience of working within a secondary or FE setting
- Clear DBS on the update service
Your responsibilities will be:
- To support the department teachers setting up the classroom
- To support students if needed
- Follow the behavioural policies set by the school
- Ordering stock for the Art Department
- Ensuring the safeguarding of pupils always
- Ensuring a safe working environment
