Are you an experienced teacher passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs?
We are working in partnership with a well-established alternative provision in Quinton that caters specifically for KS4 pupils who require additional support in accessing education. The school is looking for a full-time SEMH Teacher to join their team from September.
About the role:
- Deliver tailored lessons to small groups of KS4 pupils
- Create a safe and supportive learning environment that encourages engagement
- Support students in managing behaviour and developing positive relationships
- Work closely with a strong pastoral team to implement individual support plans
- Contribute to the wider school community with a flexible and proactive approach
The ideal candidate will have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS or QTLS)
- Experience working in SEMH or alternative provisions
- A resilient and nurturing approach to teaching
- Strong behaviour management skills
- Passion for supporting pupils with complex emotional and behavioural needs
