Description
CERT Solutions are currently recruiting for a reliable and proactive Caretaker to work on a temporary basis within a specialist school in Sutton Coldfield. This is a fantastic opportunity to support a school that provides care and education for pupils with additional needs, ensuring the site remains safe, secure, and well-maintained.
- Sutton Coldfield
- £14.25 – £16.50 per hour
- Monday to Friday (Split Shifts)
- 7:00am – 10:00am & 2:00pm – 6:00pm
The Role:
- Opening and securing the school site daily
- General maintenance and minor repairs
- Ensuring health & safety standards are met across the premises
- Managing cleanliness and liaising with cleaning staff where required
- Supporting with deliveries and setting up rooms for school activities
- Responding to any site-related issues promptly
Requirements:
- Previous caretaking, site management, or maintenance experience (school experience desirable)
- Good understanding of health & safety procedures
- Reliable, punctual, and able to manage split shifts
- A hands-on and proactive approach
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
