CERT Solutions have a fantastic new long term opportunity available at a Special School in Halesowen. This school is a all through site meaning you will be working with children of the ages 3-19. You must have previous experience of working with Children with complex needs. You must be confident and comfortable with personal care.
This is a full time and long term position starting 20th April until the end of the academic year. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of a level 3 qualification in a relevant subject.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide tailored support to pupils with SEN on a 1:1 and small-group basis
- Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons
- Support pupils with academic, social, emotional, and behavioural needs
- Help create a safe, nurturing, and positive learning environment
Requirements
- A minimum Level 3 qualification in a relevant subject (e.g. Supporting Teaching and Learning, Childcare, Education, or SEN)
- Previous experience working in a school setting as a SEN Teaching Assistant
- A strong understanding of special educational needs
- Patience, empathy, and a commitment to supporting pupils with additional needs
All rates are inclusive of holiday pay
