Description
We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to support a Year 10 student with complex medical needs on a full-time, long-term basis.
The student is ambulant and has a diagnosis of Rett Syndrome. She is non-verbal and requires consistent, compassionate, and structured support throughout the school day.
This role would suit someone who is:
- Patient, positive, and resilient with a calm and cheerful approach
- Confident providing firm but nurturing support
- Experienced working with complex needs and non-verbal students
- Reliable and committed to providing consistency
You will also be required to build a strong, trusting relationship with the student’s family, so excellent communication skills and professionalism are essential.
- Full-time role (Monday to Friday)
- Long-term placement (expected until at least the end of the academic year)
