CERT Solutions are recruiting for a primary school in Harborne who are seeking an enthusiastic PPA Teacher to join their team after February half term.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a supportive school environment with a strong leadership team and well-behaved, motivated pupils. Teaching across the school, you will need to be adaptable and confident in your ability to deliver high quality lessons from resources that have been left for you by the class teacher.

As a long-term position continuing until the end of the academic year in July, the school need someone who is able to commit fully to the role for the duration.

The Role:

  • Delivering pre-planned lessons across EYFS, KS1 and/or KS2 to cover PPA time
  • Maintaining high standards of teaching and learning
  • Creating a positive and engaging classroom environment
  • Marking and assessment in line with school policy
  • Working collaboratively with class teachers and support staff

The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
  • Have experience teaching in UK primary schools
  • Be adaptable, flexible and confident teaching across year groups
  • Demonstrate strong classroom management skills
  • Be committed to raising pupil attainment
