Description
We are currently recruiting SEN Teachers and Teaching Assistants to work on a supply basis in special schools across Handsworth and Lozells.
This is a great opportunity for passionate, reliable staff who have experience supporting children with SEN and are looking for flexible or long term work.
Roles available:
- SEN Teachers
- SEN Teaching Assistants
- 1:1 Support Staff
Key responsibilities:
- Supporting pupils with a range of SEN, including ASD, SLD, SEMH and complex needs
- Providing academic and emotional support
- Working closely with class teachers and SEN teams
- Creating a safe, engaging and supportive learning environment
Requirements:
- Previous experience working in a special school or SEN setting
- Strong behaviour management and communication skills
- A patient, caring and proactive approach
- Relevant qualifications
- Enhanced DBS (or willing to apply)
