CERT Solutions are looking for a dedicated and resilient Male SEN Specialist Teaching Assistant to join a thriving mainstream primary school in Small Heath.
This is a full-time role, working closely with pupils who have Special Educational Needs, supporting them both in and out of the classroom. The successful candidate will play a key role in helping students stay engaged, regulated, and ready to learn.
The role is to start after February half term and would be long term until the end of the academic year in July.
The role:
- Supporting pupils with a range of SEN, including behavioural and emotional needs
- Working 1:1 and in small groups
- Assisting the class teacher with learning activities and behaviour support
- Providing positive male role model support where needed
- Helping create a safe, structured, and encouraging learning environment
Weโre looking for someone who:
- Has experience working with children with SEN (school or similar setting)
- Is calm, patient, and consistent
- Can build strong relationships with pupils and staff
- Is reliable and committed to full-time work
- A relevant TA or SEN qualification
