We are seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join a school in Halesowen. This is a full-time, term-time-only position, ideal for someone passionate about supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs.

The Role:
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with pupils who require additional support.ย  You will work alongside the class teacher ย to help plan, deliver, and adapt learning activities that meet individual child’s needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide tailored support to pupils with SEN on a one-to-one or small group basis
  • Support learning inside the classroom and through targeted interventions outside the classroom
  • Work closely with the class teacher to plan and adapt lessons
  • Help create a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
  • Monitor pupil progress and contribute to reviews and planning

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working in an SEN setting is essential
  • A good understanding of a range of special educational needs
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • A patient, caring, and flexible approach
  • Strong communication skills

All rates are inclusive of holiday pay
