We’re looking for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant (1:1) to support pupils with a range of additional needs, with a strong focus being autism. You’ll be part of a nurturing, experienced team that works collaboratively to ensure every child has the opportunity to thrive.

The Role:
- Providing 1:1 support for pupils with a range of SEN, particularly Autism (ASC)
- Building positive, trusting relationships and using calm, consistent communication strategies
- Supporting pupils with emotional regulation, transitions, and structured routines
- Helping children access learning alongside the class teacher and SENCO
- Creating a safe, engaging, and encouraging environment where every child feels valued
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience supporting children with autism or communication needs
- A patient, empathetic, and calm approach
- Previous experience as a TA, support worker, youth worker, or in a child-centred role
- Commitment to helping children grow in confidence and independence
Requirements:
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
- Right to work in the UK
- Experience supporting children with SEND, particularly autism
- Relevant TA qualification is beneficial but not essential
