CERT Solutions are working with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Quinton, who are looking for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team on a full-time basis from January 2026. This role is to support children across KS1 and will require a mix of 1:1 support and group work.

This is an excellent opportunity for a compassionate and committed individual who is passionate about supporting children with special educational needs and helping them reach their full potential.

The Role:

  • Providing 1:1 and small group support to pupils with SEN (including ASD, ADHD, and additional learning needs)
  • Supporting pupils both academically and emotionally within the classroom
  • Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement individual education plans (IEPs)
  • Promoting a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment
  • Supporting behaviour management and positive engagement

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Previous experience working as an SEN Teaching Assistant or in a similar support role
  • Level 2 or 3 Qualification in a relevant field
  • A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs
