Are you passionate about supporting childhood development? Do you have experience working in SEN settings, either in a school or care environment? We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive school in the Walsall area.
About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced SEN practitioner to support teaching and learning within a Secondary setting. The successful candidate will work closely with the class teacher to deliver high-quality education, supporting both individual and group learning, and promoting a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in planning and delivering engaging learning activities
- Observe, assess, and record children’s progress
- Provide 1:1 and group support as needed
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Work collaboratively with staff and communicate effectively with parents/carers
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a school or SEN setting
- A patient, caring, and flexible approach
- DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
