CERT Solutions are working closely with a mainstream primary school in Lozells who are seeking a committed and enthusiastic SEN TA to join their Special Educational Needs Hub, supporting pupils with a range of additional needs to access learning and thrive in school.
The shcool are looking for someone who has experience within SEN schools or SEN hubs for this this full time, long term role starting after October half term.
About the role:
- Work closely with the SENCo and class teachers to support pupils with EHCPs and additional learning needs.
- Provide 1:1 and small group support within the SEN Hub and mainstream classrooms.
- Assist in delivering tailored interventions to promote social, emotional, and academic development.
- Help create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment where every child feels valued and supported.
- Contribute to progress reviews and communicate effectively with staff, parents, and external professionals.
The ideal candidate will:
- Have experience supporting children with SEND (e.g. ASD, ADHD, speech & language, SEMH).
- Be patient, caring, and able to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
- Have strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ideally hold a relevant qualification (e.g. Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant, or equivalent).
- Hold an enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one).
