The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Experience teaching in KS1 (EYFS experience is a bonus)

A thorough understanding of the KS1 curriculum and effective assessment strategies

High expectations for all pupils and a commitment to ensuring every child reaches their potential

Strong classroom management and organisational skills

A positive attitude, creativity, and a sense of humour
Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons for KS1 pupils

Create a positive and stimulating classroom environment

Assess and monitor pupil progress effectively
-
Work closely with colleagues, parents, and carers to support each child’s development

Contribute to the wider life of the school
All rates are inclusive of holiday pay.
