The school is preparing to welcome five new pupils in September, many of whom present with undiagnosed special educational needs. As a Teaching Assistant, you’ll work closely with these children – providing 1:1 support, delivering small group interventions, and helping to create an inclusive, engaging learning environment.

Whether you’re an experienced Teaching Assistant or a Level 3-qualified specialist looking for a fresh, rewarding opportunity – this role will allow you to thrive in a creative, play-based setting where early support makes all the difference.

Teaching Assistant – Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality support as a Teaching Assistant
  • Work 1:1 with pupils with undiagnosed SEN to meet their individual needs
  • Help pupils develop independence, emotional regulation, and routine
  • Communicate effectively with staff, parents, and external professionals
  • Promote inclusion and consistency as a Teaching Assistant
  • Assist with classroom transitions, behaviour, and pupil engagement
  • Contribute to a caring, child-centred team as a committed Teaching Assistant

Teaching Assistant – What We’re Looking For:

  • Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent) preferred
  • Experience with SEN, particularly undiagnosed or complex profiles
  • A nurturing, adaptable, and proactive approach to support
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
  • Full-time availability from September
  • A genuine passion for supporting young learners as a Teaching Assistant

All rates are inclusive of holiday pay
