CERT Solutions are currently seeking a  Year 6 Teacher to join a supportive two-form entry primary school in Edgbaston from September 2025. This is a full-time, long-term position, offering the chance to make a lasting impact on pupils during this crucial stage in their primary education.

The Role:

  • Teaching a Year 6 class within a well-established and well-resourced Key Stage 2 team
  • Planning and delivering engaging, challenging and inclusive lessons that support progress towards end-of-year expectations and SATs readiness
  • Monitoring and assessing pupils’ learning in line with the National Curriculum
  • Working closely with colleagues, support staff and parents to ensure the best outcomes for all learners
  • Preparing children for their transition to secondary school with confidence and strong academic foundations

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Holds UK QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
  • Has recent or relevant experience teaching in Upper Key Stage 2, ideally Year 6
  • Has strong subject knowledge across English, Maths and Science
  • Demonstrates excellent classroom management, communication and organisational skills
  • Is confident in supporting pupils with SATs preparation and assessment
  • Brings a proactive, enthusiastic and caring approach to teaching and learning
