CERT Solutions are working with a growing and forward-thinking special school in the Handsworth area of Birmingham. They’re looking for a passionate and experienced KS3 SEN Teacher to join their team from September to support an able class of students with autism (ASC). This is a full-time role for the full academic year, with exciting opportunities for a permanent position for the right person.

✨ In this role, you’ll:

  • Teach a small, able KS3 class of pupils with autism
  • Adapt lessons to meet individual needs and learning styles
  • Work closely with TAs and therapists to support student development
  • Create a calm, structured and engaging classroom environment

✨What we’re looking for:

  • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
  • Experience working in a special school is essential
  • Strong understanding of Autism and ASC strategies
  • Confident teaching KS3-aged pupils with complex communication and sensory needs
  • Someone who is nurturing, consistent and enthusiastic about SEN education
