💼 About the Role:
CERT Solutions are proud to be recruiting on behalf of a wonderful secondary special school in Erdington. We’re looking for a compassionate and reliable SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team full time on a permanent basis. You’ll be supporting a capable KS3 class, helping students with Autism and SEMH needs thrive in their learning and personal development.
✨ In this role, you’ll:
- Support students with Autism and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health Needs
- Build meaningful relationships to encourage independence and engagement
- Assist with lesson delivery and emotional regulation throughout the school day
- Work closely with teaching staff and other support staff in a caring and structured environment
✨What we’re Looking For:
- Experience working with children with Autism and SEMH
- Previous experience in a special school is an advantage
- A relevant childcare qualification
- Someone with patience, resilience, and a calm approach to behaviour management
