As a Key Stage 2 Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering creative, engaging, and challenging lessons to a class of enthusiastic learners. You will work collaboratively with colleagues in your year group and across the key stage to plan and deliver the curriculum, assess progress, and ensure that each child reaches their full potential.
This role is full time, long term and potentially permanent for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver the KS2 curriculum in line with national expectations
- Use formative and summative assessment to inform teaching
- Build positive relationships with pupils, parents, and staff
- Create a classroom environment that supports learning and promotes high expectations
- Contribute to whole-school initiatives and extracurricular activities
Essential:
- UK QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) by September 2025
- Strong understanding of the Key Stage 2 curriculum
- Excellent classroom management and behavior strategies
- Ability to plan and deliver engaging, inclusive lessons
- A team player with a positive attitude and growth mindset
Desirable:
- Experience teaching in a similar inner-city or high-need context
- ECTs must be open to ongoing support and mentorship
- Experienced teachers should be confident leading or contributing to wider school initiatives
